Salt on the Beach Restaurant
Salt is the closest restaurant to the beach in Perth, just north of the Fremantle bridge at the end of Tydeman road. It is literally steps away from one of Perth’s finest beaches. We are open 7 days for lunch and dinner from 11am, through to the evening. We are closed Christmas day. Wood fired Pizzas are now available from Fridays at 3pm to sundays. Check with us over summer as ther are many times when we will be booked out, call 9430 6866 or see the calendar. Buffet breakfast by the beach is on Saturday and Sunday Morning from 8am to 11am. Adults $31, kids 5-12 $12, under 5 free. Our beachside kiosk is open from 8am every day. The Beach Bar is one of Perth’s best family and kid friendly venues, seating up to 300 people, and includes an indoor playground so you can relax while your kids have fun! Enjoy beautiful seaside romantic dining in the elegant 150 seat restaurant. Dine in style with stunning Indian ocean views looking directly over the beach. Bookings are essential. Gypsy Tapas House
Gypsy Tapas House began in August 2006, created by Una Healy & Stefan Armentano. It began as a place for Freo locals to enjoy quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. Live music was soon added to the mix, making Gypsy a favourite for people all over Perth. In 2010 we opened the Gypsy Karavan, next to the Tapas House. Wednesday nights is Moroccan night, an intimate setting with unique Moroccan dishes and more live music. Here at Gypsy we love food, wine, music, art, sangria, dancing and smiling. The new Joy Kitchen is bigger, more attractive, beautifully located and, incredibly, even better than it was before. Diners at the new location can enjoy sunsets over Fishing Boat Harbour as well as the fine food and friendly atmosphere. Harry looks after the kitchen where he preaches the need for passion when it comes to preparing and presenting every dish. Wei Lin is at the front of house where she ensures diners are well looked after. Staff members are well trained and some have been there for a long time. Since the move Wei Lin has even turned into a wine buff. Joy Kitchen now has a small but well-constructed wine list. "I thought if we were going to serve wine I should get to know about it," Wei Lin said. Beer lovers are also well catered for while those who prefer a Chinese tea with their meal will love what's on offer.
