Our aim is very simple: to offer a casual dining experience featuring top quality produce at reasonable prices. When looking for the produce, a common theme kept popping up - Tasmania! With its crystal clear waters and lush pastures, Tasmanian seafood, beef and dairy are recognised as the best in the world. Package this with beer from some of Australia’s oldest breweries and wine from cold climate vineyards, we offer a showcase rarely experienced on the Mainland. Our menu is simple, letting natural flavours and features prevail. We are sure you will enjoy Tasman’s Oyster Bar and Steakhouse!

Beach Road Hotel
The Beach Road is one of those pubs that just doesn’t seem to change. Sure, it was expanded a couple of years back to include an extra thousand bars, but you’d still struggle to get a drink on a busy night, and it’s still rammed with local Kiwis and Brazilian backpackers. The very laid-back crowd come here to drink and pick up without a care in the world. Head upstairs to the back bar, where service and a very decent spirits list reign supreme. Wednesdays and Saturdays are the big nights, or anytime a New Zealand team or the Roosters are playing. The food has been better in the past – we’re speaking of the No Names era – but you’ll still get a good range of pub grub for a decent price. Thursdays are $10 pizza and Peroni nights. The live entertainment is another highlight, especially in summer, where this place is the most rocking joint in Bondi most nights of the week.
El Loco Mexican Cantina
A local cantina where authentic recipes are free to mingle with delisiosos fresh ingredients. Absolutely sensasionales margaritas, incredible tequilas and the most apetitosos tacos in the universe will send you completely loco. Kick back and celebrate with your amigos and hombres in our autentica Mexican cantina.
Ash St Cellar
A modern European-style bistro, Ash St. Cellar and wine bar is intimately tucked away behind ivy. Classic café chairs, warm wooden décor and Parisian ‘plein aire’ seating creates an ideal hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Sydney’s CBD. Head chef Alfie Spina creates stylish European tapas with French, Italian and Spanish influences to compliment the fabulous array of wines. The charcuterie starters are a favourite, but leave room for Alfie’s tart of the day. Franck Moreau, Merivale’s award-winning Master Sommelier, presides over a world-class wine list that doesn’t disappoint. Now also open for breakfast daily from 8am weekdays.
The Basement Nightclub
The Basement takes it live from centre stage 6-7 nights of the week. You can come along just for the music or you can make a proper night of it by taking in both dinner and show where, included in one price you get entry to some hot music, and an excellent 2 course meal. So, instead of worrying about whether you can manage to fit in a meal at a restaurant somewhere else and get to the show on time, you can make life and your evening simple by doing it all in one place.
