Ciao Italia was opened in August 1999 by a young Italian chef, Spartaco Rotella. Spartaco decided to open the place as a Take Away Restaurant and because Ciao Italia has been a great success since the opening day. The owner decided in a few months time, to put some extra tables inside and the number increased from 5 to 15 tables. Since then Ciao italia has grown even more and has the ability hold up 90 people. Ciao Italia is well known for its typical Italian food, including its 14 different types of Pizzas (cooked in a wood fire oven) and its famous happy environment, filled with Italian music, warm colours, amazing pictures from all over Italy and very loud people.

The Windsor was built between 1895 and 1898 and remains one of the great surviving hotels in Australia. The Windsor is a fine example of the commercial architecture of prominent Perth architect JJ Talbot Hobbs. JJ also designed the Swan Brewery in Mount street, so he understood a bit about beer. The Windsor was built for George Strickland for the princely sum of four thousand and fifty pounds. Presently listed with the national trust and owned and cared for by the Ogden family, the Windsor has recently undergone a make-over which mixes its historic charm with contemporary chic.The former public bar has been transformed into the modern boutique Mends St Bar, the old restaurant is now a colourful café bar, the old Sluggers Bar is long gone, the area now a beautiful bar and garden. With well over 100 years of operation The Windsor has seen many generations come and go. The Windsor is more than a pub, more than a restaurant or venue for functions, more than just the bricks and mortar that comprise it. Red Cabbage Food and Wine
Red Cabbage Food + Wine reflects the talents of chef owner Scott O’Sullivan and his chef Adam Sayles. The menu features a lot of seasonal flavours and top notch British cooking at its very best, with obvious Australian influences. The menu can be enjoyed by all guests and the chefs can offer vegetarian alternatives. Dietary requirements are also catered for. Upon arrival every guest can enjoy a complimentary amuse bouche, which is selected daily by the chefs. Scott likes to call this “a taste of delights to come”. As an addition to this, those who enjoy 3 courses at Red Cabbage will receive a palate cleanser, which changes daily.
