The Royal On The Waterfront
Our apologies if you were expecting a series of puns about ‘Royal treatment’, ‘fit for a king’ and that sort of thing. We prefer to talk about what really matters: our very own hand-crafted Colonial beers, our incredible East Perth waterfront views, and some very good food. There’s no pretension at The Royal. We make everyone welcome, we don’t care if you’re a Windsor or a Jones! Just minutes from Perth CBD, we’re perfectly located for after work drinks in our newly refurbished bars, lunch or dinner at our waterfront restaurant, or some FoxSports action on one of our 50inch plasma’s. There’s space for everyone to enjoy the pub exactly the way they want to. If you’re keen for some relaxed, waterfront restaurant dining, or maybe some tapas and a glass of wine while you watch the world go by, our generous alfresco area is roomy enough to give everyone their own view of East Perth’s vibrant Claisebrook Cove. Our team of exceptional chefs serve modern Australian food that’s as delicious as the view is spectacular. And if you’re after an excellent wine list, superb range of premium beers and some incredible cocktails, The Royal is the pub in East Perth. Sample our range of exclusive hand-crafted Colonial beers on tap from our very own brewery in Margaret River, or our impressive wine list with 68 wines by the glass. And rest assured, our cocktail bar can mix it with the best that Perth has to offer. Come alone, with your partner or even a big group of friends. Whoever you arrive with, and whatever the occasion, we have the space to allow you to enjoy The Royal your way. That’s The Royal for you. Come in for a drink, or contact us today to make a booking.

The art of Chinese cooking has a rich cultural tradition of thousands of years. The Chinese consider their cooking as very much an art form, with particular concern for delicate preparation and ‘pen tiao’, a blending of flavours. Generation after generation has passed down this skill which has led to the eating of Chinese food being considered an occasion for exploration and enjoyment. We welcome you to participate in this cultural experience of adventurous dining.

Our first feeling was that we both wanted to deliver local produce driven, stripped back European provincial dishes with our modern take on the cuisines of the southern European Mediterranean nations i.e. Spain, France & Italy the positive aspects being we are not tied to one particular food style, can draw on different inspirations in decor, food design etc… While still incorporating a cold larder driven side of the menu .
